Prototype of a computational tool for collaborative learning of computer programming

This project studies the effects of computer-supported collaborative learning in introductory programming courses.

We developed UNColab, a prototype that mediates the interaction between participants while they solve programming problems. The prototype was based on:

• A computer-supported collaborative learning script
• A group formation technique
• A prototype-oriented development methodology
